1jalapenos, make sure they are green and not red jalapeños
¼onion
1garlic clove
¼cupcilantro
1wholeavocado
1tspkosher salt
pinchblack pepper
½lime, juiced and zest from half the lime
½cupwater from boiling the tomatillos
Instructions
In a pot, add the tomatillos and peppers and then cover with water. Bring to a boil then boil for 3 minutes.
Reserve ½ cup of water from the pot and set aside
Drain, then add tomatillos and peppers (stems removed) to a blender, or food processor, along with the remaining ingredients. Blend for a couple minutes until it’s a puree.
