Blueberry Cobbler
Ingredients
Filling:
- 10 cups blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
Topping:
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 3 cups brown sugar, packed
- 1 ½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ cup butter, cold, cut into small pieces, and more butter to grease the baking dish
Optional:
- vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all the ingredients for the filling and set aside.
- Combine all the ingredients for the topping and set aside.
- Depending on how you want to serve this, you can either use a 13.5” x 9.5” baking dish (greased with butter) or, as I like to use, large ramekins for individual servings.
- Place filling into greased serving dish.
- Then place a generous amount of topping mix over the blueberry mix.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes if using a baking dish, otherwise if using individual ramekins and depending on the size of your ramekin, perhaps around 45 minutes.
- Serve by itself or with a scoop of ice cream on top!
